RLYC receives absolutely no government funding to operate each summer. The camp relies heavily on donations from local individuals, businesses and organizations to operate each camp session. Therefore, volunteers are essential to suppliment camp staff in providing the large number of programs each session offers. Current volunteers range from local EMS professionals, outdoorsmen, businessmen, crafters, coaches, and parents who are committed to making RLYC a success each season.
